Moss and Cable X Naps Studio Wool Blanket.

Over the past few months, we have been working on a special collaboration with the linen bedding studio Naps on our new wool blanket, which was specially handwoven for us in Kilcar, Co. Donegal.
We were lucky enough to work with the talented team at Studio Donegal on this project, a second-generation family business of craftspeople creating beautiful pieces and helping to preserve the traditional process of hand weaving. Their charming studio is tucked away along the coast of the Wild Atlantic Way, on the long and winding road to the Slieve League cliffs. The method of hand weaving used to create their pieces is part of the unique cultural fabric of this region in Donegal which has sadly been on the decline for many years. We are thrilled to have our blanket handwoven in this way, with meticulous care and attention to detail put into every stitch.
Using a dreamy palette of pastel pinks and greens, we carefully blended the DNA of each brand to create this one-off piece. Throughout the design process, we were committed to blending the traditional aspects of production with a more contemporary design aesthetic. The finished result is a gorgeously soft wool blanket detailed with fringed edges. Measuring 180cm x 148cm, this is a very substantial piece and can be laid out on a bed for a cosy night’s sleep or as a decorative addition to your sofa.
